So I did my World assessments and thought I was Billy Bad A because I was projected 245 and 244. Now I am reading threads stating that World Assessments are not a good indicator for actual performance. Test is in 11 days and I am contemplating taking an NBME to assess my actual level of readiness. I would be perfectly content with a 230, but if I am 210 or less I would consider pushing back my test date. Should I take practice NBMEs and if so which one/ones. Opinions?

U World, 53% complete, Random order - 68% correct, 75th percentile.
Kaplan Full Length Simulation 1 - 70% correct.

Um...I've heard mixed reports. I've heard some people say it's slightly inflated if you've seen a lot of the questions beforehand but other people say it's spot on. Good luck. Use these days to freshen up, Billy Bad A.

I'd take an NBME for sure. They just kind of feel different than UWorld, and they're apparently closer to what the real thing is like. Take one of the newer ones though (11-15), just to get an idea of where you are. I'm sure you'll be fine either way. You're not going to get a 210 with a 68% on UWorld.
