Could someone please tell me how much it costs to take USMLE Step 1 (just the cost to sit for the exam itself)? I am trying to do my budget for this year and I figured I probably need to allot a fat chunk of change for the Boards because I'm sure they aren't cheap!!!

The cost for the exam itself was $450 (or something close to that). Don't forget to add the cost of books, qbank, etc. . . It will end up costing much more than just the cost of the exam itself.
