No reason to be embarassed. Youngest spontaneous MI I have seen so far was 17. Kid almost got sent home from the ED when the enzymes some med-peds intern had sent off came back with a definite myocardial insult.

High school athlete, no steroids we knew of (also negative urine drug screen, no arrest record for cocaine).Sedentary?
Granddad died of MI at age 36.Family history of early MIs?

what did his total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Trig look like?
