Is a 300 OAT and a 3.8gpa good enough to get accepted into optometry school? I'm looking at Ohio State.

Do you mean don't look at just one school? Or not to listen to just one person? I would really appreciate any more opinions/advice.

All of the above. Don't put all your trust in getting accepted to one school, don't think any one part of your application guarantees you anything, and always diversify your opportunities and experiences!
