What does this mean by "An acid equivalent is equal to one mole of H+"?

It ks like saying 2 moles of Alcohol reacts with 2 moles of acid, or 1 mole of Akcohol reacts with 1 mole of acid. It is just molar equivalent of acid that you add to the reaction. H+ is just another way to write any acid.

They write this because acid donates protons. So one mole of any acid, donated a proton.
