What kind of research? Were you conducting an RCT in which you performed a therapeutic intervention with doctoral supervision in a manner consistent with what you would have done were it not a research project?

My understanding is that you can count them, but you have to denote they were for research purposes.

In my program we're allowed to count them if as in the above example a therapeutic intervention is being conducted or if a structured assessment is being conducted, but we have to specify it was part of a research project.
