I'm sure this has been answered but....
What courses are essential for taking the MCAT?
What courses would you strongly recommend (I've heard that genetics is suggested)?
Someone told me that if you take the test two or more times, that the scores are all averaged, is this true?

Phys I & II
Chem I & II
Bio I & II
Orgo I & II

Take biochem, histology and genetics

No, false. Schools determine how to weigh your MCAT scores.

What McGillGrad said.

Although you don't technically need biochemistry, genetics etc. (at least according to the AAMC) it’s a good idea to take some biology classes beyond just general biology.
