I have until tomorrow to add/drop classes. Basically, this is what I am currently taking this semester (junior year)...

Organic Chem
Organic Lab
Physics 202
Cell Biology
Guided Inquiry in Chem (TA for a class)
Invertebrate Zoology Lab
History 101

Anyone think this is too much? This puts me at 17 credits, which is what I have usually taken in the past, but with organic chem, i feel it may be too much. I was thinking about dropping History and taking it next semester or senior year. Any recommendations?

Now if you can handle this load and get A's that will be impressive, however if you get bad grades that can hurt your future dental application. I personally did the same thing twice and I recieved two D's and five C's on my academic transcript. The low grades really drop your GPA and it puts you in a big hole, that is very hard to get out of. I would say take what you know you can handle, do not try to be to ambitious about the course load. The truth of the matter is that you will not put is as much time studing as you wanted to once the course is over. Focus on getting A's in your courses. If that means taking longer to complete the program by taking few courses it is ok, because your GPA would be high, and you would not have to enroll in a PostBac or a MS program. In addition, it would save you time and money for not having to re-apply to dental schools every year.
