Course classification question

So I took a writing seminar (required). It had a science topic and is listed under a science department. However, I don't think it's a science course and I don't want it included in my sGPA.

I also took a stats course under the econ department as part of my minor. I also want to make sure this isn't included in my sGPA

Do I need to do anything or is this out of my control?

i'm pretttyyy sure the stats course will be included in your BCPM.

I would leave the writing course out as I feel as that's debatable.
