A quick question for you guys

UCSF emailed me today to send them course description for all the pre-req courses that I listed on my supplemental application. I just don't know what that is? What should be in the course description? Is it the same as syllabus or is something else?

Thank you

Doesn't your undergrad have a course catalog online somewhere? I'm sure there would be course descriptions listed there. A course description would describe what will be covered in class.

Here's an example from my school catalog for a course called Sociology 101: "A one-semester introduction to the principles of sociological analysis. Through a critical examination of selected topics and themes, this course develops a sociological perspective for the interpretation and understanding of cultural differences, age and sex roles, discrimination, the family and the workplace, bureaucracies, stratification, the problems of poverty. One unit."

Perfect!
Thank you so much for your help.
I graduated from a foreign university. It's a bit different there. As much as I remember, there was no course description.

Thanks again 😉
