course level on AADSAS?

Hello everybody, just wondering what to put in AADSAS under course level for each course. I am an undergrad at a private college. Should I put upper division or lower division? what's the difference? Thanks!

lower = 100 and 200 level
upper = 300+

Not always. I’ve also had:

1-99 = LD
100-199 = UD
&
1000-2999 = LD
3000-5999 = UD

To the OP: check your school’s catalog, or ask any professor, department person, advisor, registrar person etc, about the specific division at your school.

or just use some common sense 👍

My school doesnt go by 100 or 1000s so I just ranked them based on who usually took the class: if it were sophomores and freshman its lower division, if juniors and seniors then upper. Also, if the class requires a lot of prereqs then its definitely upper, if its intro then lower. Use common sense and in the worst case AADSAS will change it for you.
