Hi,

I am currently in my second year of my undergraduate studies in biological sciences. I have been taking 5 courses per term except for my first term of my first year. My academic standing is competitive and it has been improving every term.
Should I be concerned about that one term where I took 4 courses??

Thank you.

by the end of my junior year I will have 3 semesters with just 3 courses and I'm not worried. just focus on your gpa. IMO, a 3.9 with 3-4 courses is better than a 3.6 with 4-5 courses

Hey in my school 12 credits is full time so I only take 4 courses, provided I also take few courses in the summer. But 4 is enough, just do good in them, dont go overboard and mess up your GPA. Do what you can handle but also dont too little, keep a balance 4 classes is perfect. 5 is good, 6 is overboard. No need to rush everything and be stressed out, enjoy and understand what you learn, otherwise you might be cramming and stressing out. Savor and enjoy your classes, goes a long way
