So I just wanted to get everyones' opinion. My current stats are 3.405 cGPA, 3.022 sGPA, and 3.546 non-sGPA.

I know I have too much time on my hands at the moment (just graduated, taking a semester off to get acquainted in new city before post bac), and that I'm over analyzing, but I made a chart that the depicts my course load all throughout undergraduate. I guess my question is whether or not DO schools will care that my average credits per semester was only 12.8...?

I still have a few more science class to take, and will be doing them with an informal post bac. It will be two science classes per semester with labs, which equates to about 8-9 credit hrs at my school.

Do you guys think that as long as I get As in the rest of my science classes that i'll be okay in terms of a heavy enough course load? What do you think will be the adcoms' thoughts on my overall course load throughout undergrad?

Thanks for your help everyone!

P.S. I apologize for the poor quality spreadsheet. I put it together in only 15 minutes.

If I were an adcom member, I'd look more into your 3.0 science gpa rather than add up and divide how many hours you took each semester.

Good luck with your post-bac. Ace all the classes.

Yea actually my sGPA should be brought up to a 3.55 by the time I'm done with the post bac.

If you achieve that, your cGPA might be around a 3.6. Get a solid mcat and you're now a healthy candidate for allo and osteo schools. 👍

Good luck man. I'm currently in gpa repair mode myself.

Show them some valuable things that you were doing in addition to taking 12.8 credits a semester and I think you will be fine. If you were only doing 12 credits and not much else besides work, and rarely volunteering, then you may have a bit of trouble showing them your workload capability.
