Do course names matter when fulfilling the pre-requisite requirements for PT schools?

I took General Biology 1 at my school and decided to take General Biology 2 at a community college during the summer.

The thing is, at the community college I went to, their General Biology 1 is the equivalent to the university's Biology 2 so I had to take Biology 1 again at the CC to fulfill the my degree requirement for Bio 2 at my school.

Would these 2 classes fulfill the pre-requisite requirement of 2 biology courses? Or would it not count because they're both called "General Biology 1" and would they just look at it as a repeated course?

On paper, it will look like you repeated Bio 1. You should check with the programs where you want to apply to see if they will accept those two classes as fulfilling the Bio requirement, and check again with them after you submit your applications to make sure they acknowledge that the requirement was fulfilled. They might ask you for a copy of the syllabus or class description from the catalogue of each school.
