Can anyone tell me how to make templates for notes in CPRS (VA system) so I can make my own and not have to re-type everything each time?
Much appreciated!

I don't know if this helps, but at my school students/interns were instructed to email blank templates to themselves, and then copy and paste them in as needed.
Kinda jankity, but it gets the job done.

Easier than you think.

Open the notes section, and then simply RIGHT click on that "Templates" tab; it should open a window when you can choose "create new template" (near the bottom of the list). From there, you can (obviously) create your new template.

Do it. It makes such a huge difference that I can't even put it into written word.

Exactly. I have like 4-5 templates that I've made up for myself (ICU, daily note, admission note, brief op note). They are formatted and worded exactly how I want them, have "normal" PE exam results, and have the lab values/images/meds automatically inserted
