i purchased the full crack dat software and was wondering if the science portion is comparable to the actual dat? there are a few questions in the crack dat software which made me feel as if two answers could be right based on the wording of the question and i missed them cuz of that reason. is the real DAT like that? i am missing questions on things i feel i understand but misinterpreted the question or chose another answer which makes sense with the wording which is making me frustrated.

Crack the DAT science is a waste of time. It is extremely hard and the questions are just fact based. They lack the thinking skills that the real DAT warrants. For instance, the test will not ask you specific recall questions. It will ask you to differentiate skeletal from smooth muscle from a bunch of muscle examples. (I'm sorry if my example is confusing).

In short, do not do crack the dat science, especially the end tests. Those get even worse than the beginning few exams. GL.

Crack Dat Science was unnecessarily hard. Complete and utter waste of time. I would recommend not even doing it 'just to see' because it may hurt your confidence. There are a lot better science resources than CDS, just use those. GL!

I too purchased the crack DAT suite and I use it for all of my studying. I was very discouraged the entire time I used it as no matter how much I studied, I couldn't score above an 18. The kinds of questions it asks are not very similar to those on the DAT in that they were much, much too specific. That being said, I still did well on the DAT and got a 22aa and 21ts. I would advise against using crack DAT science. It is worth it to purchase another program, I have heard good things about achiever despite it being very difficult. I know spending another $500 on a study program seems rediculous, but in the long run that is a small price to pay in order to get a good DAT score the first time.
