Has anyone else out there found the Crack DAT's cube counting to be strange? In all other tests, whenever we cannot see the rest of the structure due to cubes interfering with our line of sight, we should assume the structure's uniform. In Crack DAT PAT, however, there are many instances where we can't see the whole structure, yet we are expected to know cubes are missing. Anyone else experience this? Just curious....

Yea I definately noticed. I even thought there was a mistake for one of them and emailed, but apparently it is a freakin optical illusion.

Anyways, I don't think that is standard and I definately don't think we will have any optical illusions on the DAT.

Also, during a random test, for the cube counting section, there seems to be a glitch in mine. For example, during a random test, there are like 4 different Figure A's instead of just one figure A. Does anyone else have this problem?

D.D.S.,
I haven't encountered that, but I wouldn't be surprised with this software being as new as it is. My wish is for Crack DAT PAT to come out with a strategy guide detailing how we should approach each section of the PAT. I imagine with enough time and effort the PAT will become easier, but it sure would be nice to have some direction. Why re-invent the wheel? Without direction, practice is of limited value. Just my 2 cents...

Umm... I remember someone on the forum said that he/she had an optical illusion on the actual DAT. Just a caution.

What do you guys mean by optical illusion exactly? are you guys saying that there is a cube is missing in a place you can't see and where it should be? or does it really look like something is there when there really is nothing their?
