So I have been doing some crack DAT PAT problems, and I just have some questions for those who have actually taken the REAL DAT. Is this a good simulation of the actual test? Which subcategories (Cube counting, angles, etc.) are very close to the actual thing, and which aren't. I have noticed that some of the problems, like hole punching seems a lot more difficult thatn other test preps, like KAPLAN. The angles are 4 degrees off of each other in CRACK DAT PAT, but I have heard they are only 1 or 2 degrees different on the real DAT, is this ture?? And which part of the REAL DAT PAT is the most difficult?

I felt like the real DATs were a tad bit easier than Crack DAT PAT.

I scored about the same as I did on crack DAT PAT. Cube counting and hole punching seemed to be easier on the real DAT but watch out for those freakin angles! You'll do fine.

Ok thanks a lot. But, what should I study for the best practice with those crazy angles i have been hearing about? Crack DAT PAT is not too bad, but Im sure there are more difficult practice tests with closer angles in them. Let me know.

On my DAT the angles were slightly easier than CDP. I would say the smallest angle on my DAT was 4 degrees and mosr were prob 5. Crack had consistantly 3 and 4. Overall I think you score about 1-2 points better on real DAT than you do on crack.

I took my first Crack DAT PAT test. It took me 5 mins longer than the time frame, and I scored a 21. Now, when you used this program, did your scores increase? And how much? Will doing these 1000's of PAT questions actually help my score increase? And is the format the same (computer screen layout) on the real DAT?

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes.

I started at a 17 I think was my first test and by the time i finished all 10 I hit 24 and finished with 10 minutes left.

Crack Dat Pat FTW! On the real DAT, i received the highest score I received on CDP (and the last one i took the day before the best too!). My score with CDP started off with 18s and i could not finish within the time frame. Practice as many problems and soon you will get the hang of it. 👍
