So I'm planning on taking the Kaplan course this summer but I'm worried that won't be enough prep for the PAT section, am I right? But is it really worth the money to buy CRACK DAT PAT?
I don't know if it's just me, but a lot of people have trouble with the TFE portion of the PAT. For TFE, crack pat is not exactly the best. They throw difficult problems at you without easing you in. If you're having trouble with any of the other types of problems, then it's definitely worth the money, but IMO TFE is the most difficult portion of the PAT, and crack pat does poorly to initiate the TFE-challenged.
Which CDP version is adequate? I don't think I need the 200 dollar super duper package, but I'm afraid only 5 practice tests (the cheapest version) isn't enough...TFE and pattern folding are giving me some headaches so I am mostly worried about getting enough practice with those sections. Thanks!
Couldn't have said it better myself. Don't bother with Kaplan, you might get used to the easiness of the darn thing. CDP and Topscore aren't bad, Achiever is waay too hard and Kaplan waay too easy.I wouldnt bother with the kaplans crap and get CDP, Destroyer, Cliffs AP Bio, and topscore/schiever. Throw in maybe prinnceton review for the basics in the chemistries and your golden. Wasting money on the kaplans course just isnt smart and your time would be better spent studyng.
