Chlo,
It depends on how much time you have. If you are confident with your PAT skill, get 5 tests version. If not, get 10 test version. Doing more problems never hurt you.

Reading: too many tone questions.
science + math: harder than the real DAT.
PAT: very similar to the real DAT.

Chio,

It really depends on what score you are looking to make on the DAT. If you're trying to kill it, use crack DAT PAT, math, and reading (along with other materials of course). I used the "Ultimate Package" with the royal flush editions of PAT, science, math, and reading for part of my DAT prep. I have to say that I really credit crack DAT PAT for my PAT score (PAT: 26), and crack DAT reading and math really helped with my timing (RC: 20, QR: 20). The best thing I got from crack DAT was that I had a lot of practice tests, and when I walked into Prometric on test day I honestly felt like I was just taking another practice test. I would recommend taking as many practice tests you can get your hands on, and when you're done know why you missed the questions you did. Crack DAT science was a total dud, I never made above a 16 in any section, and the questions were pretty ridiculous, total timewaster (BIO: 22, GCHEM: 20, OCHEM: 25). Also, the great thing about getting the royal flush editions is that crack DAT PAT has tons of bonus questions to practice on (angles, hole punch, and cube count) and crack DAT math has these really nifty video explanations of how to do the problems once you're done with the test. The guy had some nice tips for solving problems that I actually encountered on my QR section of my DAT. And lastly, although the crack DAT reading questions weren't the most representative of the real RC section on the DAT, the length of the passages were, I got 20+ paragraphs on 2 out of 3 passages on my real DAT.
