is the PAT the only one worth buying? what about the math, sciences, and reading?

also, does it really matter which package you buy? they just vary in price so much. obviously more practice probs are great...but if youre on a budget, would the $79 package (450 practice qs for CRACK DAT PAT) be sufficient?

thanks! 🙂

I heard that the explanations for the math problems are terrible and somewhat confusing, although I haven't personally used it. But I personally think instead of purchasing the math and science softwares, you'd be better off if you purchase destroyer.
I bought the one with 10 PAT tests for about 90$, but my understanding is that they have recently increased the price. So, I think you'll be fine even if you buy the one with 5 tests. The thing is that in addition to those 5 tests, the software gives you an option to generate random tests. In other words, when you choose that option, the program randomly chooses a series of questions and combines them to generate a new test for you. So, in reality, you have more than 5 tests to work with.
At the end, it really comes down to how much practice you feel like you need. If you think you're struggling with PAT, then obviously you need more practice, which means you should invest the money and purchase the package that provides you with more practice exams. On the other hand, if you trust your PAT capabilities, then just go with the 5-test package.
Applying to dental school is a long, painful, and awfully expensive process, so +/-40$ shouldn't have a major effect, specially when you'll be spending 500+ just to submit a stupid application!😱

Get the 5 test if you dont have that much time to study for the PAT, but 10 test is really good if you want to see improvement. CDP recently raised their prices a couple of days ago everything used to be $30 cheaper, I guess it just proves that the product works

Depending on how much practice you need on the PAT section, but if you feel 5 is enough then go for it, if you need a little bit more help then try the 10 pack.

With a book like the Destroyer out there I wouldn't recommend spending some extra money on the Crack Sciences. And yeah, the explanations for the CDM are terrible but... after speaking to one of their representatives, apparently they are looking to improve their explanations by adding video explanations, which I think would be really helpful. Their rep said they were hoping to add that around August. CDM is still a good math review and helps you pace yourself for the real exam
