So it seems like there were old threads on this topic but I wanted to get some feedback with recent test takers and recent CDR users. How similiar were they? From what I hear, there are a lot of tone/inference questions on the CDR but also the passages are easier to read since they're more "interesting" (story based etc). I've been scoring 17/18/17/18 on my first four and am kind of worried about the real test. I've been pretty much reading the passages till halfway while mapping and answering questions. Then if I can't find the answers, I would read the rest of the passages while mapping. Any ideas?

bump. anyone?
Ty jacobs avged around 19-20 on his crack and got a 24 on the real deal. However, reading seems to be kind of random. Some people get 95% search and destroy and do really well while others get like 20 paragraph passages with tons of statement is true reason is false type of questions. Another example would be feralis avging around 23 on bootcamp and crack and getting a 28 on his real DAT (which he said was easier than crack when I asked him) versus some breakdowns I see with 22 avg on bootcamp and low 20s or 19 as their actual score.

In my experience with the DAT it was not even remotely similar to Crack DAT reading.
CDAT reading had historical excerpts as passages, which you will never see on the DAT.

finally scored my first 23 on test 5 of CDR. I had to switch methods though. There are a lot of questions on the CDR that I have to find a.b.c.d.e. answers to per problem. I hope the real test is mostly simple questions.
