I'm not sure why I got this wrong, If someone could please help me out.

I thought MP trend was that more carbons, higher MP
and more branching, higher MP

Why did I get this wrong?

Branching decreases boiling point. Order should go functional group -> carbon length -> branching when comparing BP and MP.
