Does anyone know which of the two is more similar to the actual DAT questions? and is Crack Dat worth the extra money over achiever?

Honestly, I used both. Crack DAT PAT is easier overall, except for cubes and angles, whereas Achiever is much harder in TFE and Keyholes and Pattern folding. If you are very tight on money, I'd recommend getting Achiever since you will also be able to do other sections as well that are harder than the real thing, and I think it gets you more bang for the buck.

However, Acheiver doesn't have solutions for the PAT portion, so if you don't really know what you're doing, it will be frustrating trying to see what you did wrong without having the actual shapes/answers there for you. So if you are only trying to focus on PAT and have other things for different sections, then I'd recommend CDP.

I used both and wouldn't have done it any other way. CDP really helped me get the basics down, and timing, and then Achiever was good for fine tuning and really learning how to determine different proportions.
