Crack the DAT prep

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I used Crack the PAT and it was the number one resource for mastering PAT. I've heard many others praise the Crack the math/reading but I used Math Destroyer instead. Also, the sciences is supposedly a huge waste of time.

Granted, that only delivers practice materials. Would you be interested in premium content that was instructional in nature? Keep practicing and never give up!

I think I mainly need a better idea of what is on the exam--like what angle they ask questions from: are they application questions or purely fact-based? I don't think I need review material for science... Also, did you get the crack the dat pat for $200 (called "the royal flush edition")? They have three options on their website.

Thanks!

all you really need for crack dat pat is the ace edition. Royal flush edition is kind of pointless unless you are actually willing to go through all 20 of those exams. Crack math and reading is ok..the bio portion is utterly useless. The nice thing about the math section is the instructional video per each questions.

I have CrackDAT the full version with all the sections. The most helpful sections were the quantitative reasoning, reading, and PAT, the least helpful sections. The Natural sciences sections were pretty much useless. Here was the breakdown of the sciences section:

CrackDAT/Real DAT score

Organic chemistry: 11/19
Biology: 9/17
General Chemistry: 12/18

science is a waste.

reading is decent, but is all tone q's (unrealistic for the real dat)

pat is very good, but prob easier than the real dat, esp if u pick up on their patterns and tricks, which wont work on the real test

never used math, but hve heard it doesnt have enough word problems, but is good to use to practice timing

math destroyer is a better buy for the math
