I'm prepping for the DAT now with Crack DAT and was wondering how the results on Crack DAT are related to the actual DAT. I've heard from a couple of people that the natural science tests are far more advanced in crack DAT than the real thing and studying off them can actually be bad since you are learning far more material than is necessary. I've also heard that the PAT part is really useful in prepping? Any prior experience you can share about this is appreciated!

PAT is a no-brainer. I was told to not waste my money on the science packages. I've heard mixed reviews on the math and reading. There are probably better sources for those anyway.
So stick with PAT. That's their specialty.

I have used topscore before, it is pretty good to simulate somewhat of the real dat. But in terms of material, I think DAT destroyer is better. The science questions are hard so makes me study more. Good Luck on your DAT
So I've taken a few Crack DAT Science tests and have consistently gotten 14-15 in Biology and 11-12 on organic and gen chem. Those scores are psyching me out a little bit since I'm taking the real DAT at the end of next week. Anyone else have really bad scores on this and then kill the real thing?
Also, I should add I've been studying hardcore for about a month so there is really no way I'm doing that poor. Their practice tests just seem to include so many more small details.

I too am going to be taking the test in a few weeks. Their PAT is good but the others seem lacking. Their science stuff seems too nit-picky....so don't fret my friend. We probably both ought not to have gotten anything other than the PAT from them!
I found CDP to be pretty good at preparing you for the real PAT, however, the pattern folding in CDP is ridiculously easy compared to the real PAT. On the DAT i took, the pattern folding section was extremely difficult -- i had 4 or 5 that i couldn't figure out, and i consider myself pretty decent at patter folding (14-15 on all CDP tests). I would try and supplement the pattern folding section on CDP with something more difficult. Other than that, CDP will prepare you for PAT (hole punching is much easier on the real DAT)

Crack the DAT is pretty good! Their PAT section prepares you well for the actual DAT compared to any other website I have used. I used Kaplan, Destroyer, and Bootcamp as well, but for the PAT section Crack the DAT PAT section is fantastic. It is harder than the others, but it prepares you well for the actual test.
