Yeah, I haven't taken a science class since 2001. Its like a foreign language right now. 😱

I exempted general chemistry 1&2 in college from AP Chemistry that I took in the spring of 98.

This is going to be interesting. Thankfully I am retaking my science classes this summer, fall, and next spring.

Yeah, its good that you are retaking science courses, because some dental schools don't accept AP credits, meaning despite the fact that your undergrad exempts you the dental school will still require that you take the course.

AP Chem is nothing like Chem 1 and 2
My school highly recommended that I take Chem there despite I got a 5 on AP chem. Anyways, I don't understand why you didn't take Chem 1 and 2, its a prereq for D schools

I graduated with a BA in Music and was a few classes short of a Bio major. Now that I am going back to school to take my science classes over, and take some I've not yet taken (possibly for a second bachelor's degree). I took analytical chem, honors orgo 1 & 2. Apparently UNC feels that a 5 on the AP Chem exam is comparable to their General Chem 1 & 2 since I didn't only exempt it, but I also received 8 hours of credit (6 lecture / 2 lab)

Regardless, I need the refresher.
