Seems like a case of undiagnosed/untreated mental health issues. Very unfortunate, his dental career is likely over, or close to it, because of this.

This is really unfortunate for all involved. It appears that this gentleman really needs some help but at the same time so do his neighbors. Even then, it does no good for the dental profession either. All I can do is hope that he gets some help before something serious happens.
