Hey guys, I recently had my GPA verified and went to check out the application PDF. I found that for my courses that had labs (especially my prereqs) were corrected to reflect 3/6 credit hours instead of 4/8 hours for half/full year courses. when I inquired about this they said for my university half and full year courses equate to 3 and 6 hours regardless of whether there was a lab component or not. This worries me since schools usually state they require 8 credit hours for courses such as gen chem, orgo, bio, and physics and now according to my application I only have 6 hours for those with no mention of lab components.

thanks for reading and what should I do??

Thats for the American schools ( 8 credits with lab). 3/6 credit hours is correct if you are a Canadian applicant.

The US schools will look at the courses from your school and will see that your 3/6 credit hours are equivalent to 4/8 credits. I had the same problem last year, don't worry about it.

oh alright, that's a relief, thanks guys!
