Hello again wonderful people,
Is there a difference between credit and contact hours for the purposes of grade replacement. I retook my gen chem 1 from school A with the same course at school B. Both courses are 4 credits. However, I noted that my transcripts from both schools has the term "contact hours" written. My first school says 7 hours while school B says 6 hours. If I recall from my time at the first school long long ago, I believe there was a workshop (or recitation) component so I would take a guess and say that's the cause of the additional hour. Nonetheless, it made me twitch a little and just wanted to see if anyone has seen this. thank you
