Anyone know how the IDEP program through Creighton works? I just got a call from ISU for an interview (on Sunday wierd eh?). So does that mean I interview there and then a possible interview in nebraska??

I'm a former IDEP guy so here's how it works. They will interview you in Pocatello and that's the only interview you will need. If you get into the program then you do your first year in Pocatello and the next three in Omaha. If you don't get into the IDEP program, then the guys in Pocatello will send your app to Omaha, and they will consider you as a regular applicant and may call you for an interview at that point. Hopefully you can get into the IDEp program and save yourself 80k.

What about RDEP? I asked them and they said that I wouldn't have to do anything. They said that as long as I was a Utah resident and got into a program supporting RDEP that I would be able to do my first year in Salt Lake and then finish the DDS program in said school. They didn't say anything about interviews.

You may want to check on that again with another source, the RDEP program is only for Creighton and they only take 10 students I believe. They may have other compacts with other states but it is not part of the RDEP program and you will not do your first year in Salt Lake if that is the case.
