Hi everyone. I could not find a post that would talk about Creighton dental school interviews. I was wondering if they actually invite some people for an interview, or do you just have to contact them to ask to tour the school. I have heard before that if you do go tour the school they will very shortly interview you, or something like that. If anybody has any ideas about this please let me know.

I called Creighton, they said that they don't have formal interviews, and that they just mail out acceptance letters. The guy I talked to said that if you get an acceptance letter then they encourage you to come check out the school and see if that's where you want to go.

If you schedule a tour, Dr. Ayers will interview you for 20-30 minutes. The tour/interview is held on Friday afternoons at 2 p.m. After the interview, they will send you out with a student to see the school for another 30 minutes.

Thanks for the information. Do you think it will make a difference in getting accepted if you put some effort into things and actually go tour the school? I think it does, but what do you guys think? By now, do you think all the spots are pretty much filled up already?

The guy I talked to on the phone with told me that coming to go on the tour would have no bearing on my acceptance. He made sure to make that really clear, but if you don't believe me call for yourself and ask, I would before I plopped down the the cash for a plane ticket.

I believe you, just wondering what your thougts were on that. I can't imagine that if a person goes to tour the school and puts effort into getting to see the school that it would not have ANY influence on being accepted. So did you go tour the school? And what did you think of it? Were there other people touring at the same time with you? Thanks for the information.
