Creighton: no interview required

So I just called Creighton because my application has been "Under Review" for about 10 weeks. They said that if I would have been invited for an interview I probably would have been by now but interviews are not mandatory for an acceptance. I know stats aren't averything but mine are pretty good. Has anyone heard anything about their no-interview acceptance rate?

Hmm, I was wondering about this too! My last AADSAS update from this school is July 25th and I called a couple times afterwards (I think in August and October), and they said it's under review. It'd be great to get in without an interview, but I'd rather have an interview than a rejection, if you know what I mean? Anyone know about this?

I would want to interview before deciding to go there, especially if you are out of state. Im in the same situation with Creighton, I cant figure out why Ive had no contact with them, called and got the same story about it being under review, I guess we will see come Dec. 1st but for me, them not inviting me to an interview doesnt help sell their school, I would need to see the location and school before deciding. Kinda nuts in my opinion, unless you know a lot about Creighton and are absolutely set on the school.

I would not put too much though into it. Creighton is small school and tuition wise one of the least expensive private schools, giving they do not interview their own graduates and have WICHE agreements they will have more than enough applicants to fill their seats come Dec 1. NYU is the only school I know that done same practice of accepting few high stats applicants withouth interview but NYU is totally different story...
If your appl was completed by Sep and you did not received invite by now I would say you were passed up for pre Dec interviews. Creighton does send few invites post Dec so not everything is lost...

I also applied and only got that letter stating that my app is complete. I'm fairly certain that someone getting in without an interview is an exception only.
