Hi! I got into both Creighton and Thomas Jefferson but now I can't figure out which one I like best. Both interview experiences were amazing and accommadating. Creighton's long clinicals and diverse locations across the nation is what drew me to this program however the price is definitely on the higher side. TJU's neuro hospital was a plus but I'm not sure if their environment would fit me. Any input from anyone would be helpful 🙂

I think you kind of answered your own question. Before I interviewed at Creighton I didnt understand "fitting" at a school. Unlike other schools I have been to, I was ready to commit to Creighton right after I left their interview day, and because of that I recently sent my deposit.
Just doing a little bit of research into TJU, their tuition and fees dont seem to be much less than Creighton. The way CU lists their anticipated cost is a little misleading because they include cost of living and such. Just to make sure I am doing my due diligence I will interview with my state school next month. I have been to both the campuses in that past for tours and have never liked them, hence I did not do my undergrad at that school.

When did you interview at Thomas Jefferson?

When did you interview at Thomas Jefferson?

You should just relax and be patient and wait to hear from TJU. I know that is your first choice but it is no need to stress over something that has not happened yet

When did interview/get accepted into TJU? I was already accepted to GWU which I LOVED and was very excited about. But was just offered an interview at TJU. I knew they already had accepted some people so I am wondering if it is even worth going to the interview if I am already accepted at GWU. I know I would really enjoy GWU but philly was more affordable to DC and I love the city and the program, so this is why I am considering going to the interview.

That's so awesome! Congrats! I sent in my supplement late so I'm still waiting to hear back from GWU. *Fingers crossed* Before I got accepted into Creighton, I got an invitation to TJU, so I accepted it. I had my interview in early December and they said my interview was about in the middle of their cycle. I truly loved their program: they have TJ hospital (which is a great hospital) and one specifically for neurology (which is my interest), the area is rich with culture and pretty safe, and it has a great reputation. The interview is two parts: a group interview and sitting in a class. If accepted, they give you about a month to decide. Everything is through email.
I had a hard time deciding between the two, but just like you, I had fallen in love with Creighton's program before my interview. Personally going to the interview gave me something to compare Creighton to which solidified my decision. It ultimately came down to cost of program/living and where I thought I fit in best.

Okay great! Thanks for the input! I am still undecided if I should accept TJU interview yet. I do know I would be very happy in DC, but I also know that the TJU program is just as good in almost every way and cheaper to live in philly. I just hadn't heard anything from TJU since back in October so had pretty much written it off.

I chose Creighton. Cost wise, everything pretty much evened out (cost of living was the big swinger) and small town vibe and integrated curriculum was more me.
Are you going to Creighton or Jefferson? or did you chose another school?

Jefferson for me I didn't apply to Creighton
