can someone clarify for me whether we are just meant to write why we would be a good dentist after their statement:

"Please state if there is a anything of particular importance that the AdCom should know about you."

are we essentially reiterating what we have in our AADSAS essay? 😕

To me it means to add anything that wasn't covered in your AADSAS essay.

You could just reiterate, but why not add something special about yourself that you weren't able to address before?

I added a couple of things regarding research I'm working on (acknowledgement in 3 papers!yay!!!) and I corrected an AADSAS error (damn aadsas!!!!)

I don't think you should repeat yourself. Try and think of something new.

Just a question: how religious is Creighton? Marquette too, for that matter?

thanks for your responses... i was planning on repeating myself... i just wasn't sure if that question was directed to "academic problems" that should be "explained" etc...you know how it is... 😱

I hated that question...they leave you 3 lines to tell something meaningful...what a joke. I killed myself for weeks writing my personal statement and they want me to sum up things that adcom should consider in 3 little lines.

BTW to the guy wondering about how religious Creighton is? I would say not very. During my visit there I don't think I heard the word "Jesus" once. They were more focused on community service than religion in my opinion.

Hmm...seems like maybe a month from the time I submitted to the time I got the secondary. I loved their secondary. 2 pages of fill-in-the-blank.

aadsas sent my stuff out oct 14. i got creighton's 2ndary today...but i'm in canada...mail gets here sloooowerrr....ayyyyy...
