These two schools seem very similar, can anyone highlight any key differences?
Only the STL zoo has elephants, and their reptile collection is better, but they both have penguins, so your luck in med school admissions should be the same.
But really, how much do you want it? Do your own research, or ask a more specific question. What differences do you care about? Do you want us to just suggest random facts? Is the difference between the cities and nightlight and atmosphere important to you? Does the difference in research matter?
no.Thank you for the quick and clever response! if you have nothing constructive to say please keep it to yourself.

When I'm not on SDN, I spend all my time on ZooChat.Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo was voted best in the world!
And try to talk to snakes? 😛Every time I visit a zoo, I head straight for the reptile house.
OP, I'm sorry my criticism was not constructive enough. Let me try again.Thank you for the quick and clever response! if you have nothing constructive to say please keep it to yourself.

Google is also an important tool for med school applicants.

If you do a google search, this topic has been repeated on SDN a couple times.
EDIT: Oh, is this for undergrad or med?
They're both absurdly expensive, private, Jesuit schools located in the Midwest. It's really up to preference. At a glance they're exceptionally similar, other than that SLU is in St. Louis and Creighton is in Omaha. SLU matriculates a 'better' class academically and likewise probably has a better rep, but that's pretty negligible.
Personally, I'd pick SLU over Creighton, and a state school over either one.
To be fair, I'm also biased in that SLU accepted me and Creighton wouldn't interview me 😉
But really, for anything constructive, you need to ask a more specific question. There are a million things we could say, but they're pretty much irrelevant. What's most important is you're happy with your decision and you perform well wherever you go. The rest is, for the most part, inconsequential. My favorite part of SLU is how truly invested they were in the happiness of their students and friendliness of their faculty, staff, and students, I imagine that's very helpful.
In that case, I can tell you Creighton is a great school. I didn't apply to SLU but I think you will have a hard time finding a Creighton student who doesn't like their school. What were your impressions on interview day?Med, but yes I went for that option first. Most of those are from ~5 years ago so I decided to restart the thread.
The hospital (ie ms3/4) is arguably the most important aspect of medical school, but unfortunately the hardest to evaluate. The only downside is the hospital. I was not a fan, but Creighton's is about to move, so you cannot really judge theirs either right now.
