Of those of you out there attending Creighton University, does the informal interview with Dr A help you get in???? Haven't gone yet, but considering. They are booked until mid January. I just was debating if I should just save the money or go.... If there is definite weight on the interview that you students know of ... then i am there....

No weight is given to those who interview versus those who don't. However, it never hurts to give them a face to go with the application and it would be nice for you to see why or why not creighton would be right for you. Think of it like marrying someone you've never seen before. Interview is nice for clearing up any questions you may have and is well worth the cost of a ticket when you figure what you'll be spending on an education. Just charge it and pay it off with your first loan check.

I agree. It's not like there is a box they chack on your application that says you came for a visit. They don't think, "well since he/she came for an interview, they must want to come here more than the other applicants who didn't come for and interview."

I think it may "indirectly" help. Like sandman said, it just gives Dr. A and yourself a better idea of each other compared to each other on paper. But again, it will not "directly help you get accepted."
