Any thoughts on this years CREOG in service exam?

I thought it was more difficult than previous years (current PGY3). Not sure how I did. But am hoping to at least do as well as last year.

I heard a couple of the third years in my program talking about it; they thought it was easier than previous years. I thought it was hard 😱 :scared: But then again, I'm just an intern. 😳

Just a quick bump, but please post when your program releases your scores. We have a new program coordinator and I don't want to miss the ball on getting scores back this year in a timely manner.

Our program coordinator said our scores will come back in February but she didn't give me a date. I will share whenever I hear anything.

i know they say fellowship programs don't look at creog scores but what is considered competitive? i've heard being 210 or above is competitive for REI and Onc? Thoughts?

A fair amount of programs will ask for CREOG scores. This is true for all the subspecialities (MFM, REI, Urogyn, Gyn Onc). The importance a program places on CREOGs isn't known.

For urogyn, around 3/4 of all of the program want CREOG scores. Similar stuff for Gyn Onc.

As far as scores, a 200 is at the 50th percentile. A 210 puts you at approximately the 69th percentile. This is based on a percentile table for the CREOGs that my PD had shown us awhile back.

Basically try to do as well as you can each year.
