I think so, but its my first time going thru the process so only guessing that they will have a different service that does background check.

Is this the Certiphi service? I got this last week before decisions came out asking if I wanted the Student Edition. Did anyone else get that one and if so, are we done if we went ahead and did that?

I got the email this morning ,too, But I didn't have anything from them last week.. The email says, "You have received this email because you have been conditionally accepted by one or more of the schools participating in the ADEA-facilitated program for performing criminal background checks on conditionally accepted applicants. " exactly.

I would HIGHLY recommend contacting your chosen school and asking them what (if anything) you have to do. Shelling out $150 or $250 based on receiving an email that looks official is INSANE.
