Hello there,
I guess I feel a little bit embarrassed to admit that I have taken the BCCCP two time with no success.. last time around was short for 9 points (491/500). Anyone out there can spare some words of wisdom or pearls on how i can tackle this test? Also, I have the PDFs from 2015, does anyone have a newer version that I can buy from? I am trying to develop a strategy; any information on tips, study material or test bank would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Thanks!

Do you work as a critical care pharmacist?

Do you work as a critical care pharmacist?
I staff in the ICU 1-2 days/week; rotate throughout the whole hospital. There is only ONE "designated critical care pharmacist"
Got BCPS last year, passed in my first trial so I guess now that this time is different; I don't know how to approach the situation. I would like to re-take it, but I am so tired of studying 🙁
Do you have any pointers? practice exam? or any useful info? Thanks!

I am still trying to take the naplex so I am not the most appropriate person to give opinion. But I heard from a friend of my husband who is a doctor in the icu and he was a nurse before that what it helped him to pass his boards was looking at the usmle world and nclex relating stuff, I remember him saying that sort of targeting those cases with icu content helped him on the boards. Sorry just trying to help. I hope everything turns out better for you.

Hope the OP passed the exam, but for me, I passed using a combination of self-study materials and live-instruction review. I also took a hard look at my weaknesses which is I tend to procrastinate if I was relying on self-study alone. Spending the money on live review (taking the trip and going to lectures) was worth it to me because I passed on my first try. I also work in ICU everyday so that probably helped. I am also blessed to work with an ICU team that constantly revises their practices based on the latest guidelines. I have worked in some hospitals that are kind of lazy to keep up sometimes (granted, this was years ago).
