Yes, I know, the title says it all, I'm sorry. I'm seriously not trying to start any flame wars here but I just didn't know where else to ask about it. I'm a med student that's totally clueless about anesthesiology and have a question from a friend. He's a nursing student currently but was looking at going into a CRNA program in the future. He heard a rumor that the CRNA program would be phased out by 2010 and he just wanted to confirm it because if that's the case he wanted to try to get into a program as soon as possible. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but if it is, can someone please direct me to where I would be able to find this information for him? Thanks.

Not at all true. Go to www.aana.com

SouthSideSteve: I was afraid my post would lead to this. Yes I'm a new member. Please don't jump on me for that. If you read my other 2 posts you'll see I'm a 3rd year med student who's interested in EM so I am really clueless about anesthesia. I was just trying to do a favor for a friend and now that my question's been answered, you won't see me in this forum anymore. I wasn't trying to start anything. Honest.

rmh149: Thank you for the link.
