Hi...I was wondering if anyone has taken part in this volunteer abroad program...Crossculturalsolutions.org

I was looking into the Thailand program but I have never heard of this, and just want to make sure that i'm not going to get kidnapped.

cross cultural solutions is majorly expensive. i don't think they do much with medical experience. i had the greatest experience of my life with unite for sight last summer and am doing it again this summer. highly recommended. go to www.uniteforsight.org to check them out

Cross Cultural Solutions have a pretty good rep.. another one that I would suggest you check out would be Volunteer Abroad. They have a good rep and offer some really good medical programs.

I know someone who did the Thailand one (whose brother did one in China)... she had the time of her life. They take care of everything for you -- a nice guest house, other cool people in the program, personal chefs for the house, language classes, tours to other parts of Thailand, etc. She taught English as part of the program there, and she loved the whole experience. I'm not sure how "medical" it is / can be.
