Do people generally take a week off to take CS,or can you study for it during sub-i and surg-icu blocks and take within the block?

Any thoughts, experience, clinical pearls?

Study? I read through FA for CS a couple of times the week before (took about 3 hours for each read through) and that was it.

Agree. I spent about 3-4 hours reading FA for CS on the day prior to the exam, and that's it. Additional "studying" would have been a complete waste of time.

thanks for the replies.

I saw some people saying the did UW CS and CS triage so questioned the time required to study. I guess there is not much to study aside from reviewing some books then...

Yeah, just FA for me, too, though it definitely took me more than 3-4 hours to read it (I guess I'm just not that fast).
