I know taking cs in december is not wise because:
(1) If I fail, I would not have another opportunity to re-take it to match 2010.
(2) I won't have a complete application and may receive less invitations for interviews.

So, my question is, will this look really bad and do I still have a shot at acquiring interviews w/o cs? I am an IMG so I know taking cs this late would put me at an extreme disadvantage but circumstances were so that I had no choice. I do have average step 1/2 score and applying to fam. med.

Sounds like you don't have much of a choice at this point. If you take CS in Dec, results will be reported Feb 3 - Feb 24 so you should make the NRMP deadline. But some programs will not interview you without it. Since you don't have any other options, the only thing you lose is the $$$ you spend on ERAS. Much will depend on which programs you apply to. You should check program web sites closely to see whether they require ECFMG certification for interview.
