I am currently a DO student. I wanted to know if PE or CS was needed for Ranking? I didn't submit my comlex scores only my USMLE scores and I didn't take the CS.

For IMG's it is. Not sure for DO's, you should probably talk to your schools advisor, since registering for CS and getting your score back takes a few months. In fact at this point, it might even be too late to get your score back before the rank list is due. Good luck and ask someone who know what they're talking about ASAP.

hey you're not the only one out there....do applying to md gas....i'm actually taking the megabus tomorrow to philly to take the PE....results won't come back until really late....i was under the impression that it wasn't a big deal, but since you brought it up i was going to email some PD's. I'll let you know what I find.

FWIW, I took the PE at the end of 3rd year so I had my results back by sept. However, I had a coordinator from KU Wichita contact me sometime before ROL were due (Dec or Jan?). She asked me for my PE results and I informed her that I had already submitted it on 9/1. She rechecked my application and found PE results. So apparently some programs might want the PE before ROL's are due. It might be worth contacting individual programs and informing them that your score will not be back by the ROL deadline and ask them if that will be a problem.
