Hey guys so I applied and everything is completed for my application. It looks as though I am going to get a C in a course. I have an interview lined up and am hoping to get more invitations in the future. Could this possibly hurt me in the future? This is the only C I've ever gotten so it really depresses me. 🙁

well if its the only C you have ever gotten it shouldn't be an issue. After academic update a school could ask you about it in an interview but usually its a red flag if its a grade below a C and in a prereq. Just get all good grades from here on out in the rest of your classes! Good luck

Reconsider whether you really want to do dentistry. This may take a few application cycles now with that C, but with heart you should be able to get in.

Isn't the academic update optional anyway? Schools may not even see the C this application cycle.
