Came across a somewhat tricky problem while doing one of my practice tests. I assumed that since this particular "hidden" cube was not supporting anything then it did not exist. It's mostly because of the view that was given to me; however, after going over the solutions it says that it actually is a cube. I know that this is a tricky question and I actually believe the solution is wrong. If this were a question on the DAT, would you count it as a cube or no?

Ive taken the DAT twice and never encountered hidden cubes. Its only CDP that pulls that type of shenanigans. Achiever doesnt do that.

In questions like this I always assume there are no hidden cubes.

This one was actually from Achiever, haha.

That was just my point. Achiever doesnt do hidden cubes. On achiever if it looks like it a hidden cube question then it most likely isnt. CDP only does it.

Just to be clear, if a question like this came up I would count it as a cube.

well, I don't see how that is hidden.. if you can see it, then count it. they don't trick students like that. i would count it. So that makes 3 cubes that have only one side painted.

Yes but the surface that I pointed to could either be the top of a cube or the side of the cube behind it. I only ask because I have been tricked like this on a CDP test. But like I said before this was taken from Achiever.
