For those of you that are current dental students or recent graduates (and have used a sim lab) do you think it is a necessity when choosing a dental school? How has it helped you? Or not helped you (if that is the case)?

Sim labs are the biggest waste of money you can find. The only thing that will prepare you for dentistry is getting in a real persons mouth and trying it out. Nothing can simulate that. Go for the school that will give you the most clinical experience you can get.
