Has anyone submitted to Cutis before? Is it normal to be waiting for more than 4 months and not have a decision on my submission yet? This was my first submission, so just curious

Yes and yes. My submission took at least half a year before a response and finally it was accepted after some revisions.... Now they say it may take up to a year to actually have it published.

Just shoot the journal an email and ask when you can expect a decision.

A year for acceptance-to-publication is long, but in general, case reports can take 1-2 years to get published after acceptance, while original articles/reviews probably only take a few months. Obviously, this will be journal dependent
