cutoffs?

just got my gpa computed by the braintrust at aadsas. science turned out to be 3.07,overall 3.23..but my bcp is 2.97.
i saw a thread earlier referring to 3.0 cutoffs. does anyone have any solid info on this? particularly the private schools. i'd hate to be tossed in the trash becuz of my bcp. my dats are very good, as are my ec's and lor's.

I am not an expert on cutoffs or anything but I have a few friends at BU and Tufts that had lower than a 3.0 GPA and got in. Plus I think that your DAT is good enough that they will have to at least take a closer look at you. I wouldn't worry too much and besides your stats are already in so there is not much you can do now unless you take a year off and up your GPA but if ya got good extra curriculars and lors I wouldn't fret too much.
